Bedste Hotelkæde i Danmark 2012
I går aftes vandt vi prisen som Bedste Hotelkæde i Danmark ved Danish Travel Awards 2012. Det er vi enormt glade for og stolte over! Og så er det ingen hemmelighed, at vi er meget overraskede, for vi havde slet ikke troet, at vi som den lille dreng i klassen var store nok til at blive set blandt de bredskuldrede, internationale kæder. Men det er vi så, og det er jo bare ovenud fantastisk!
Hvordan vinder man så sådan en pris? Vi ved det ikke præcist, for der følger desværre ikke en begrundelse med. Det er fordi, det er tusindvis af medarbejdere i rejsebranchen samt analyseinstituttet You Govs 1400 mand store Danmarkspanel, der stemmer om, hvem, de synes, skal vinde en Danish Travel Award. Vi har dog selv et bud på, hvorfor vi har formået at skille os ud fra mængden:
Vi kan mærke, at der er en tendens til, at gæsterne i stigende grad vil have lækre hoteller, der skiller sig ud, tager ansvar og er nærværende. I en verden, hvor man hurtigt bare bliver et reference number, er det rigtig vigtigt for mange at kunne identificere sig med noget og mærke den personlige og hjemlige kontakt – og det er netop disse værdier, vi værdsætter allerhøjest i forholdet til vores gæster. Derfor fastholder vi vores vision om at drive anderledes hoteller, der giver mening. Det, tror vi nemlig, der er en fremtid i.
Best Hotel Group in Denmark 2012
Yesterday evening, we were awarded Best Hotel Group in Denmark at Danish Travel Awards 2012. We are extremely happy for and proud of this award! And it is no secret that we are also quite surprised, as we did not expect to be noticed amongst the big, international hotel chains. But we were, and that is just absolutely fantastic!
How to win such an award? Well, we actually don’t know why we won it, as the price, unfortunately, does not come with a reason. This is because thousands of employees in the Travel Industry as well as the opinion-research institute You Gov’s panel of 1400 Danes vote on who to win a Danish Travel Award. However, we do have an idea of how we have been able to stand out in the crowd:
We sense a tendency that guests more and more look for gorgeous, attentive hotels standing out and taking responsibility. In a world where we are often referred to as just reference numbers, for most people it is important to be able to identify oneself with something and feel the personal and homey relation – and these specific values are exactly the values we treasure the most in our relation to our guests. This is why we maintain our vision of running “hotels that make sense”. To us, this is the key to future succes.
