Judging from the outside the work in a reception might seem a little trivial. It’s certainly true that it doesn’t take a receptionist long to get to know the greeting of new guests by heart and recognize all the returning guests. Set udefra kan arbejdet i en hotelreception måske virke en smule trivielt. Man har da heller ikke arbejdet længe i receptionen før man kan sin velkomsthilsen på rygraden og kender alle stamgæsterne.
