Is jacuzzi on the room included in queens choice in the junior suite?

Svar: 12.08.10 / Marie Louise
Hi. Almost all of our junior suites have a jacuzzi. If you mention that you'd like a jacuzzi in your junior suite when booking your stay, we'll do our best to meet your request.

hello I have a reservation for 28.06.2010 for 6 people. I see from a previoius enquiry that you offer a fixed price taxi from the airport, how do I arrange this? We are very excited about our visit, it is to celebrate my son's 21st birthday (which was in February!) many thanks Bernadette Roche

Hi, We do offer taxis with fixed prices, but only from the hotel to the airport. When you need to go to the hotel, you're on your own. There are plenty of taxis at the airport, though, so it won't be hard to find one. A taxi-drive from the airport to the hotel shouldn't cost more than 300 kroner (at the very most! - and then you would probably need to be stuck in traffic). When you need to go back to the airport, you just ask in the reception, and then we'll order a taxi right away. No need to pre-order. Enjoy your stay. And happy birthday to your son:)

Do you have wireless internet in the rooms and/or lobby?

[Reply]

Svar: 10.06.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
The Kong Arthur has wireless internet in the lobby and internet by cable in the rooms. Most rooms do not have access to the wireless network, but if it's important the reception can probably arrange a room for you that does.

I am planning a stay for August. I know from past experance that Copenhagen can be very hot that time of year. Is the hotel and individual rooms air conditioned?

[Reply]

Svar: 10.06.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
Kong Arthur is not air conditioned -- which is actually the only reason why the hotel doesn't have five stars. It's true that July and August in Denmark can be quite hot, but most of the time the weather isn't that warm at all, and air condition seems a bit excessive. We do hand out fans if necessary, though.

I have a family of 2 adults 3 children needing accommodation 19 June for 2 nights - which room types offer connecting or adjoining rooms? standard and superior?

[Reply]

Svar: 25.05.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
We have connecting rooms in several categories -- double rooms, double superiour rooms and suites. In some instances a room in one category connect with a room in an other category (like a superiour room connecting with a suite). I think you should call the reception (+45 3311 1212) or send them an e-mail (hotel@kongarthur.dk)and tell them about your specific needs, so that we can find a fitting solution for you.

Hello. Do you have connecting rooms? We are 4 ladies who are going to visit Copenhagen in September and we would like to stay together as much as possible.

Svar: 21.05.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
We do have some connecting rooms and september is still far away, so I'm sure we can accomodate you next to each other. Please mention your request when you reserve the room and then we'll se what we can do.

I am booked to stay at your beautiful hotel on June 11, 2010. It is a special occasion and I am all excited to visit Copenhagen. I need your help! 1) Our cruise gets in at 7am and was wondering if it is possible to have and early check in or is it possible to store our luggage until the room is available 2) Is there a bus or metro services from the cruise port to the hotel? Can you provide me with any information or direction. Looking forward to my stay and to enjoy beautiful Copenhagen. Thanks for your cooperation and have a wonderful day!

Hello. Check in is usually not before 2 pm, so 7 am would probably be strecthing it a bit too far. We do, however, have a luggage room for your things, and we would love to help you find some interesting things to do in the meantime. Just come to the reception, and we'll see what we can do. To get from the cruise ships you could probably grab bus #26 to Kongens Nytorv and then take the metro one stop to Nørreport, but if you've never been in Denmark before it might be a bit of a mouthful to get to know two public transportation systems with luggage and everything. I think I would recommend a taxi instead. They should be available at the cruise port.

I am planning to make a reservation for June for a double room, and am deciding between a Grandlit room - Small double room with a queensize bed, standard double, or superior double. I don't really care about the size of the room so much, but I do want to have a proper double or queen size bed (not too twin size beds pushed together, which sometimes happens in European hotels). I have looked at the room descriptions online, but would welcome advice about the room choice. Can you confirm that these rooms have proper double or queensize beds?

[Reply]

Svar: 14.05.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
We do have both regular double beds and double beds that are really two single beds put together. If it's very important for you to avoid this, you should definitely mention it when you make the reservation, and then we'll do our very best to find a room for you with a regular bed. Most of our rooms are with genuine double beds so I don't think it will be a problem at all.

Greetings. No, the hotel Kong Arthur is located just five minutes away from Copenhagens busiest train station with very frequent trains for the airport, so there's no real need for a separate arrangement. The trains leave every fifteen minutes, the trip takes twenty minutes, and the fare is about 30 kroner (approx 5 dollars). We can also offer a fixed charge taxi for the airport. The price is 200 kroner (35 dollars) in the daytime and 260 kroner (45 dollars) at night. As for the harbour you would probably need a taxi - which we can arrange for you, of course. No fixed charge for that, though, but it is not that far away so it shouldn't be too expensive.

Hi. I am thinking of staying in the hotel. I am wondering if it has an exercise facility that contains an exercise bicycle? thanks!

[Reply]

Svar: 03.05.10 / Marie Dyekjær Eriksen
Greetings. Yes, the hotel spa includes fitness facilities with exercise bicycles, treadmills, weights and so forth. While treatments require reservations and cost money, the fitness room and the spa is free of use and open for all guests.
